Performance
Here is Nvidia’s chart featuring playable settings of what a gamer can expect with selected GTX 500 series video cards. We will test this out of course.
3D Vision Performance
The expected performance when running the built in benchmark with 3D Vision enabled at 1920×1080 resolution, FXAA High, DX11 Disabled, and PhysX High is 33.8 fps for the GTX 560 Ti and 36.5 for the GTX 570. Of course, we will confirm this after we finish downloading and playing Batman: Arkham City. Expect a 3D Vision evaluation and a real conclusion and we will add this game shortly to our benchmarks.
If you decide to upgrade and buy a new video card for the game, note that several of Nvidia’s partners are offering a free copy of the game for a limited time. EVGA even has its own Batman: Arkham City-themed GTX 580.
Conclusion
We will be back with a full 3D Evaluation of the game. In the meantime, Batman: Arkham City comes highly recommended. Our web master gives this game a solid 9 from the XBox 360 experience – and that is without PhysX or 3D Vision! He calls it the perfect balance between story-driven and ‘open-world’. Stringing together Batman’s fighting combinations for devastating results are satisfying and top-notch.
Stay tuned as we have many more reviews and evaluations coming up. Tonight, you can expect a full review of the Thermaltake eSports MEKA compact gaming keyboard. We have learned quite a bit about mechanical keys and keyboards that we would like to share with you. And of course, join us in our ABT forum and speak your mind!
