Battlefield: Bad Company 2 – PC Review
Conclusion
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 can only be described one way – kick ass!! The overall experience leaves very little else to be desired. The graphics win, the audio is surreal and the gameplay puts you into some really bad company and bad situations that are so exciting to fight your way out of; either that or you die trying.
I am sure that this game will not disappoint first-person shooter fans. BFBC2 is a well done title that pushes its franchise to higher heights and sets a nice tone for future releases. I for one, will surely be on the lookout.
Pros:
- Superb gameplay mechanics
- Graphics and audio are top notch
- You get your money’s worth (if you play online)
- Dedicated servers
- Addictive
- FUN!!
Cons:
- Minor glitches here and there but nothing major
- Some persons may consider the single player campaign too short
- Addictive
Part of the reason that this review took so long to finish and get published was that I could hardly tear myself away from the game itself to actually write about it. I easily recommend Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and give this game a well deserved 9 out of 10.

Thanks for the nice review! Can we expect some day a CPU scaling article with this game including Core 2 processors?
Thank you for your support.
In regards to you wanting a CPU scaling article, I will definitely consider doing one. ABT always tries to satisfy its loyal readers/members.
Just stay tuned in the forum. Thanks.
Yeah, I sure would like that too.
Very glossy review, although the gameplay is second to none the glitches can be enormous. This game can kill your system and is considered unplayable by some, check out EA’s bad company 2 forum for thread after thread and page after page of crashes and bugs on multiple high end systems. It can cause system crashes both to desktop and hard crashes where your system will hang.
I agree with the score (when it works) but it’s worth noting it’s glaring faults
Here’s a cpu usage screenshot of me playing in a 32 person rush server using a Q9550 and a GTX 260.

Playing on my E8400 was not good times.
