For example, Cyberlink says that PowerDirector renders a simple 3 x 3 video wall (9 HD video clips) project 29 times faster than Adobe Premiere Elements! Instead of locking up, PowerDirector powers on.
How do they do it? They use every type of performance optimization possible. Native 64 bit code allows PowerDirector to fully utilize all of your RAM. Multi-threaded operation on every CPU core. Hardware accelerated decoding, effects processing and video encoding… on all major hardware platforms (Intel, AMD and NVIDIA).
They didn’t just make it faster, they’ve added up to 100 video tracks, keyframeable effects, full HD preview (on your main monitor, or full-screen on a 2nd monitor), and tons of usability improvements.
