Exciting New ATI Catalyst Features Revealed

Introduction

AMD is ready to add some new features to their monthly ATI Catalyst release. The Catalyst Control Center (CCC) is where all the magic happens for setting and tweaking Radeon video cards. We have grown accustomed to having monthly improvements for the Radeon line-up and this month is no different; except for the fact that we will be getting a significant improvement. This time, however, there is a lot more to consider aside from just performance.

This “1-2 punch” as AMD calls it, will come in the form of the 10.2 and 10.3 Catalyst releases. The new features will be introduced in a two-stage process across February and March. Before I get into any details, have a look at the highlights of these new features.

First, let us look at what is available right now in Catalyst 10.2 (which should be available here any time now).
