G.Skill Introduces Falcon II Series SSDs

G.Skill today announced the release of the Falcon II series of SSDs. The drives bring with them support for Windows 7 TRIM command. The drive uses NAND flash technology for its MLC (Multi-Level Chips). The controller used is Indilinx ECO and is coupled with 64MB of DRAM cache. The lineup consists of 256 GB (model: FM-25S2I-256GBF2), 128 GB (FM-25S2I-128GBF2) and 64 GB ( FM-25S2I-64GBF2) variants. The read/write speeds on offer are 220 MB/s (read) and 150 MB/s (write) and the drives are backed by a two year warranty.
