NVIDIA Fun Fact of the Week: GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470 will be the names of the first two GPUs shipped based on our new GF100 chip!
It is not rumor. The first two new GTXes based on NVIDIA’s brand new Fermi architecture – which we covered here – each have an official name – GTX 480 and GTX 470.
NVIDIA has promised that their new GTX will be the fastest gaming GPU – period! And they have promised to launch it in Q1 of this year.
