GTX TITAN Z availibity begins now
Nvidia announced the TITAN Z at GTC 2014 in March, as a GeForce hybrid product that is being used by researchers and design artists for CUDA as well as for gaming. The original $1,000 TITAN has been very successful for Nvidia which Jensen likened to, “selling like hotcakes”. Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen, introduced the TITAN Z for $3,000 reminding the GTC audience that three of them can fit into a desktop PC and it just about equals the computing performance of the $5 million Google brain – for $9,000 total.
TITAN Z is aimed particularly at designers and CUDA developers, but it can also play video games. GTX TITAN Z is the fastest and most advanced graphics card Nvidia has made to date. It comes equipped with 12 GB of 7 Gbps video memory, a 12 phase power supply with dynamic power balancing, full speed double precision support, 5,760 CUDA Cores, and two GK110 GTX TITAN Black GPUs to power 3840×2160 resolutions.
The double-precision computational power of multiple GTX TITAN Z-accelerated systems now eclipses that of multi-million dollar supercomputers, while using a fraction of the power, and a fraction of the space. So, for researchers, scientists and other CUDA developers, GTX TITAN Z delivers unparalleled double-precision computational performance in a PC chassis that can fit under your desk. And gamers can have unrivaled bragging rights to drive graphics for extreme PCs.
GTX TITAN Z is available today from leading system builders and add-in card partners. Availability and partners will vary by region. Pricing is expected to start at $2,999.

ABT will not receive a TITAN Z for evaluation as Nvidia is seeding them to CUDA developers.
