Intel preparing a P55 motherboard onslaught
The anticipation for Intel’s upcoming lineup of Core i5 CPUs is building up. These CPUs will go along with the P55 chipset based motherboards and socket LGA 1156. Intel is preparing boards are named DP55KG, DP55SB, DP55WB and DP55WG. Although they are not detailed yet, but they are set to feature support for Socket 1156 processors and dual channel DDR3 memory, and at least one PCI-Express x16 slot. They are expected to be available in Q3 around August or September.
