LG G Pad 8.3 announcement
LG is back in the tablet game since their last device, the Optimus Pad, which debuted back in 2011. LG’s new tablet, dubbed the LG G Pad 8.3, packs some great software features and specs. Originally set to debut at IFA 2013, LG decided to give everyone an early surprise instead.

Besides hardware, the same software features that are on the LG G2 are on this tablet as well. Three neat features include knock on which allows you to turn on the display by simply tapping your fingers on the screen. Qslide enables the device to run three different apps on the screen at the exact same time for great multitasking. And Qpair lets the user pair any Jelly bean device with the G Pad, allowing the user get calls and messages.
Our final thoughts:
This tablet is definitely a killer device and the way it looks is outstanding. The material used on this tablet is very similar to the LG G2.
LG says the tablet will be available in North America, Europe, and Asia in the fourth quarter of this year. No announcement has been made on pricing yet. We will keep you updated.
