MSI Launches Winki:An internet interactive device
Face it, most of our functions in day to day life is on the internet. Which is why lately, we have seen the rise of netbooks, smartphones which are good for brosing, sending emails and save space over a desktop at the same time.
Adding to that is MSI with their launch of their internet device known as Winki. Although not much information on the product is available at the moment, but we do know that it is a small device with a large array of functions: built in web browsing, immediate communication, VOIP calls, photo searching and more common PC functions. All one has to do is start Winki and in a flash the online world is at his/her fingertips.
We assume this could be a small netbook like their Wind line of products or even smaller.
Winki is said to operate on a Linux base and includes freely available and open source software such as Mozilla Firefox, instant messaging (IM) software called “Pidgin”, Skype to take care of VOIP phone calls and many more.
This device will be available world wide with support for 15 languages.
