Nvidia’s updated 3D Vision Kit now reduced to $149
Nvidia just announced an updated version of their 3D Vision wireless glasses kit, which allows gamers to play more than 500 3D games, watch Blu-ray 3D movies, view 3D photos and videos, and stream 3D web content on GeForce GPU-equipped PCs or notebooks.
Nvidia has also reduced the price of the 3D Vision kit (glasses, wireless IR emitter, cables, and software) to $149 (US) – $50 less than the original price. Plus, the improved glasses provide 50% longer battery life from a single charge; sixty hours compared with forty hours previously. In addition, the price of an extra pair of glasses has been reduced to $119.
Two brand new games, Bulletstorm and the upcoming Crysis 2 support 3D vision. If you haven’t done it yet, download the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo from GeForce.com and experience a bit of one of the most anticipated games this year with 3D Vision. You can even use the red and blue anaglyph glasses just for a taste of 3D gaming.
You can even pair 3D Vision with the brand new GeForce GTX 550 Ti – also available today for $149. For beyond gaming, check out 3DVisionLive.com where Nvidia hosts over 5,000 3D photos and videos available to stream to your PC. You can even upload your own 3D photos and share them if you have a suitable 3D camera.
At ABT we believe 3D gaming is the future that is here now, and we hope to bring you some reviews of 3D Vision shortly.
