UPDATE: This Editor’s Modern Warfare 2 Pet Peeve
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is one of 2009’s most anticipated games and has become the biggest hit ever in entertainment with reported sales of US $310M in just 24 hours. Activision has yet again delivered on their promise of another solid first-person shooter.
This comes out in the game experience because the single player campaign has done great justice to us, the gamers, that have all waited (im)patiently for the release. The multiplayer segment is a different story, which I won’t get into.
I have enjoyed the game immensely so far but I must point out that there is something about the game that got me rather upset…
**Spoiler Alert**
For those of you that have not yet played the game, I will not be posting my pet peeve on this first page. This is just so you don’t “see it by accident”. I will continue after the jump.
“The problem I had was in the stage where you unavoidably have to play the role of an undercover CIA Agent, placed right beside the big, bad Makarov (the guy you really want to catch) and you are forced to take on the role of a terrorist!!”
You don’t have to play that mission. You have the option before you start the game to skip it AND before you play that mission, you also have the option to skip it.
That is true. However, I speak in terms of the flow of gameplay.
I’m sure no one wants to really pay $60 (more than normal for a PC game) and skip, or miss out on, a level for any reason.
