The recent rumors of the Xbox 360 dropping in price seemed to have come true as Microsoft announced that the \u2018Elite\u2019 120GB model will drop in price from $399 to $299 as of Friday, August 28. The entry-level Arcade will remain at $200 the mid-range Pro (reduced to $250 from $300) will be phased out.<\/p>\n
This announcement comes in wake of Sony\u2019s decision to introduce the PS3 Slim model and reduce the price of PS3 to $299. <\/p>\n
