Now you can win $10,000 for hacking into a smartphone. A hacking contest to be held at the CanSecWest security conference in Vancouver, British Columbia next month will award cash prizes of $10,000 to anyone who can break into the most popular smartphones, including Apple Inc.&#8217;s iPhone and Research In Motion Ltd.&#8217;s BlackBerry.This should get all the smart people out there really interested.<\/p>\n<p>And the contest has a really cool name too, Pwn2Own.<\/p>\n<p>Terri Forslof, security response manager at 3Com Inc.&#8217;s TippingPoint unit, the contest sponsor said that the contest will offer a dual-track hacking challenge for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>The hackers will get to exploit five smartphone operating systems, including Windows Mobile, Google Inc.&#8217;s Android, Symbian, and the operating systems used by the iPhone and BlackBerry.
