PlayStation Access has posted a video showing 20 things you might have missed about the PS4. While most of these may be refreshers, some of them were surprising and interesting.<\/p>\n

1. The new interface is called PlayStation Dynamic Menu and it is replacing PlayStation 3\u2019s XMB menu system<\/p>\n

2. PlayStation 4 comes with a 500GB HDD that can be replaced and upgraded the same as the last generation PS3<\/p>\n

3. You can log onto any PS4. You can access purchased games and your games as long as you are signed-in.<\/p>\n

4. You can nominate one PS4 as your \u201chome\u201d machine. Your content will always be linked to that console and will always be available, even to other users. This includes PlayStation+ membership.<\/p>\n

5. PS4 is the first PlayStation console to come packaged with an HDMI cable.<\/p>\n

6. PS4 is not region locked<\/p>\n

7. The new PlayStation Camera can shoot in 3D and in \u201cvery impressive quality.\u201d<\/p>\n

8. The PlayStation Camera has 4 microphones for accurate sound detection and source origination.<\/p>\n

9. On PS4, Video Unlimited will stream movies.<\/p>\n

10. In most situations, you will be able to switch instantly between playing a game or other apps through the Dynamic Menu.<\/p>\n

11. The touchpad on the Dualshock 4 is also a touchable button<\/p>\n

12.\u00a0 PlayStation app is piece of software for Android and iOS devices due on launch day. This will let you use devices for a second screen, potential in-game apps, shop on PlayStation store, download directly to PS4, and more.<\/p>\n

13. PS4 has cross-game chat.<\/p>\n

14. PS4 has always-on video compression and decompression systems. It is always processing your last few minutes of play so you can share it instantly. The PS4 also uploads in the background.<\/p>\n

15. PS4 features \u201csuspend\/resume\u201d so this means you can instantly return to playing a game.<\/p>\n

16. PS4 can handle game updates and game downloads in the background, and even in suspend mode.<\/p>\n

17. PS4\u2019s use of Gaikai streaming will give games immediate access to a library of PlayStation titles and more legacy titles to come later.<\/p>\n

18. Existing PlayStation+ subscriptions will roll over on to the new console.<\/p>\n

19. Sony Pictures Entertainment is working on new original programming and unique content for the PS4<\/p>\n

20. There are more than 140 games currently in development for the PS4.<\/p>\n
