The self-contained CPU cooler uses nanoparticles mixed with fluids to maximize cooling performance. The Reserator 3 uses a dual radiator design to optimize airflow. The radiators are unlike the usual radiators used for watercoolers. Liquid flows within two copper pipes, creating what Zalman calls a quadro cooling path. The radiator comes in at 120mmx145mmx79mm, while the waterblock takes up 70mmx85mmx37mm weighing just 897g.

Reserator 3 Max supports all sockets

The low profile, low noise copper CPU block uses a micro-fin design to maximize heat transfer. The radiator supports a push-pull configuration with the purchase of an optional fan. Other features include VRM cooling, blue LED applied fan and water block, and easy installation and maintenance. The package comes with a retention-system that’s compatible with all current Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA1156,1155 and FM2, FM1, AM3 and AM2. The Reserator 3 supposedly produces between 18.9 and 36.7dBa of noise. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.

Zalman has launched the Reserator 3 Max, which should be able to dissipate 400W of heat.
