Unlike <em>Batman: Arkham Origins<\/em>,\u00a0<em> Arkham Knight<\/em> takes places after the events of 2011&#8217;s <em>Batman: Arkham City<\/em>. Although no real gameplay footage is shown, the CGI trailer is very well done and does a good job of introducing the game.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/fc01.deviantart.net\/fs71\/f\/2014\/063\/8\/a\/batman_arkham_knight_by_endless_1-d78vwuz.gif?resize=680%2C382\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For the first time, the Batmobile will be driveable throughout the game, and Harley Quinn will be a playable character through pre-order DLC. From the WB Press Release,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady&#8217;s uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Rocksteady has always made quality Batman games. The upcoming game is rumored to be built using Unreal Engine 3 and will most likely incorporate PhysX although NVIDIA has not yet commented. Expect more information to come during PAX East and from E3. For now, we are just trying to contain our excitement.
