The old meets the new in Ultimate Quest<\/em>.\u00a0 Some of the first PC games were text adventures.\u00a0 Today, a brand new tweet-based text adventure begins, called \u201cUltimate Quest.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 It\u2019s a five-day saga to challenge players to search for a power to change the world.\u00a0Ultimate Quest<\/em><\/span> is an adventure that is designed to challenge the most skilled gamers.\u00a0 Best of all, the first player to beat it will win, sight unseen, Nvidia’s brand new product the moment it\u2019s made available to the public.\"Untitled-1\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Ultimate Quest<\/em><\/span>\u00a0is an interactive text adventure written by internationally renowned interactive fiction author <\/span>Emily Short<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0Gameplay takes place in an online environment that features illustrations by Silvio Aebischer.\u00a0 His credits include, Oddworld: Munch\u2019s Oddysee<\/em> and Iron Man 2<\/em>. The game sends players on a winding trek through a dystopian world full of intrigue and conflict. The challenges are surprising and the images are beautifully-crafted, supporting this unique adventure into rethinking the world of social gameplay.<\/span><\/p>\n

A new episode in \u201cUltimate Quest\u201d will start on each day beginning today, from July 18-July 22. New segments of the story reveal new ways to interact with the game, including on social media.\u00a0\u00a0 Solving a variety of unusual and perplexing problems moves the story forward. You need to participate every day in order to win.<\/span><\/p>\n

You will need to log in with Twitter. There will be a variety of social activity tagged with #UltimateQuest\u00a0 on Twitter, with <\/span>@NVIDIAGeForce<\/a> driving the conversation. If you get stuck anywhere along the way, go to @<\/span>Ultimate_Qs for tips.<\/span><\/p>\n

The entire game exists in an isolated environment and every response is 140 characters or less. There are some sections of the game where you are required to Tweet to solve problems.\u00a0 You can even rename objects and characters, which makes this game even more interactive.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Ultimate Quest” kicks off on today, Friday, July 18 with Episode One and continues through Tuesday, July 22. You can only beat the game on the fifth and final day. That\u2019s also when NVIDIA will make a major announcement.<\/span><\/p>\n
