Then came MegaByte from 1024 of ? you guessed it , KiloBytes. Cycle continues. 1024 of MegaBytes form 1 Gigabyte, 1024 Gigabytes form 1 Terabyte, 1024 Terabyte form 1 PetaByte, and it continues on into Exabyte,ZettaByte,YottaByte. Lets leave TB’s, EB’s, ZB’s (wow they rhyme !) for now and focus on a GB because thats where we are in the consumer memory market.

12GB that’s the size of memory configuration that Patriot has launched. That is 103 079 215 104 bits. Patriot’s configuration comes in the six 2GB module configuration. They will run at a speed of 1333Mhz and come in both CL7 and CL8.
