Although Microsoft has been quick to dismiss any rumors of Windows 7 launch in 2009 and insists that it will come in Jan 2010, 3 years after Vista launch. But according to info from Acer, Windows 7 should be available on October 23. <\/p>\n

"23rd October is the date the Windows 7 will be available. There is a 30 day upgrade time so that customers don’t wait to buy a new computer, so if you buy during that 30 day period, you’ll get a free upgrade to Windows 7",<\/em> Bobby Watkins, Acer’s UK MD told Pocket-lint<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Acer plans to launch their Windows 7 pre-loaded all-in-one Z5600 PC on 23 October 2009. <\/p>\n

In a separate interview<\/a>, Massimo D’Angelo, Vice President of Acer Europe, further confirmed the rumors when he responded to a the question of whether the company would ship its upcoming range of All In One PCs with Microsoft’s new OS. "No, when it’s in store, it won’t have Windows 7 pre-loaded. We won’t be actually selling it a day before the 23rd October.<\/i>" <\/p>\n
