But in a recent interview AMD\u2019s Dirk Meyer revealed that they are preparing a lower power, cheaper, smaller platform than Intel\u2019s Atom. They expect the partners to get the samples in 2010. Dirk also maintained that this new platform would be for notebooks and not netbooks.
