He also expects third quarter growth for the company in 2009.

The 40 nm process will become particularly important in the next few months as nVidia and ATi start taking swings at each other with their DX11 heavy-weights. The better the yields, the better the pricing and availability for customers like us.

The full story is here.

Please join us in our Forums

Follow us on Twitter

For the latest updates from ABT, please join our RSS News Feed

The issue of low 40 nm yields at TSMC has been a hot topic of late, especially with ATi’s 4770 parts being quite hard to get, and also because of nVidia’s quiet introduction of...

[6
1933,919,73,1936,1291,1935,121,843,1934
post-9877","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news","tag-40-nm","tag-40nm","tag-ati","tag-chang","tag-dx11","tag-morris","tag-nvidia","tag-tsmc","tag-yield
["GET
