Vivo uses MediaTek SoCs which I'm not a fan of, their reputation for software isn't the greatest either.
By default we assume you are in the US, only about half of us actually are, but any advice will likely be given with that as the assumed place.
What exactly is your budget? Vivos are pretty cheap, but who do you use as a carrier and what type of billing are you looking for? I'm a big fan of buying phones unlocked and then just using StraightTalk- $45 a month for unlimited everything(full LTE speeds on the first 5GB, but never any over charges).
The Vivo V5 can be had for around $199, the G5 that SickBeast mentioned can be had unlocked for $299-

IMO a much better phone, better SoC, better software, just plain better all around. Now, if you are coming from an iPhone and are used to premium pricing and don't mind it the Pixel is absolutely fantastic and the S8 isn't too shabby either(S8's software still lags behind the Pixel, camera isn't quite there either but to be fair it is the second best cell camera I've seen). Depending on your carrier and contract situation, these may be viable options.
If you give us more details, we can get a lot more specific and offer advice more tailored to your wants and needs
