Wow this is interesting.  First Rollo calls gstanford a shoe salesman and now it turns out Rollo even was one.  I think this is the all time greatest thread at ABT.

Well there is also the fact that you kinda-sorta-hypothetically admitted to being "wrong" about the whole 5800 vs 9700 thing.  So two bombshells really.

Everyone is wrong at times, and if the image quality of the FX5800 is the best you've got I'm comfortable with that.

When I was the shoe store manager my labor provided my food, shelter, transportation, health insurance. I guess you and GStan would "go on the dole" rather than do some "lowly" shoe related work?
