Well, there are Xeon Broadwells (covered in Anandtech's article) but they're more expensive - no sense to choose them over the i7-5775c (which is just like "K").
What about the X99 platform with a 6-core 5820K for only $30 more than Skylake? That way, you won't feel like downgrading from your current 6c/12t Xeon.

Ok with science that the big bang theory requires that fundamental scientific laws do not exist for the first few minutes, but not ok for the creator to defy these laws...
