Intel PSA On Conflict Minerals

I'm proud to own an Intel CPU. By the way, my new rig is set up with my EVGA GTX 1070 SC, but the card's coil whining unacceptably, and I'm going to have to RMA it. So my overclocking o a GTX 1070 will have to wait.

Pretty neat

As for your gpu...It sucks you are having issues.
But you know, nvidia sucks...what did you expect?

You should have bought AMD

LOL. I'll be RMAing it and going for an MSI GTX 1070. I've heard that MSI is the Nvidia card maker that is least prone to coil whine recently.

There is the hot glue trick, I am sure you heard of it. Seems the coil whine resurgence is still not resolved. As much of a big deal the 970 was made out to be...which was a continuation from the 700 and 600 series.

Neither the reference 970 or 980 (titan style blowers) I bought had coil whine. They were quiet as can be. Supposedly made with higher class components...but I can also vouch for MSI, out of the many msi cards I have owned, none is them had coil whine. Hopeful they are still making sure their cards are without whine, that they still take the time, that they still take our serous. Coil whine can ruin your experience and cost you customers, so it's dumb to ignore it

Update: I got an MSI GTX 1070 a while ago, and I can't put up with the coil whine any longer. It's going to have to be returned.

Wow that's brutal. My zotac gtx 1060 does not have any coil whine. Maybe you could try zotac. I don't know what their gtx 1070 cards are like, though.

With the U.S. growing gap between the Corporate Overlords and U.S. workers here, the U.S. is becoming just like the Congo right in front of your eyes.
