First phone loaded with Android 2.0, the Verizon Motorola DROID is about to hit stores in a few days, but we are already hearing news of Android 2.1 being in the works. The website androidandme has reported some visits from a device loaded with Android 2.1.

Android 2.1 is expected to release around the end of 2009 and is supposed to be a bug fix release only. But you never know, we might get some new features.
