First Images of Fermi GeForce GTX 480 from Cebit
NVIDIA is releasing their new DX11 Fermi architecture GeForce GPUs which begins with the GTX 480 and GTX 470 on March 26th at Pax East in Boston, Massachussets. However, GTX 480 and GTX 470 are at CeBit for preview right now. Here is the new GTX 480 courtesy of Tweakers.net.
According to Tweakers, the images are of the A2 revision of GTX 480. The GPU itself is 500mm2. We are also looking at the heatpipes for NVIDIA’s reference stock cooler.
The GTX 480 requires a 8-pin plus 6-pin PCIe connector and it comes with 1.5 GB GDDR5 as 12 memory modules of 128MB each.
The graphics wars are starting to heat up now. Enjoy the images! More later.

1.5GB fix it.
IT’S LIKE I’M REALLY HAVING SEX
The card itself will require less than 300W; a 650W PSU is evidently recommended for a complete high-end PC that includes GTX 480.
Where I live, it is colder than warmer for most of the year. Currently, I love my HD 4870-X3 Tri-Fire setup for gaming on cold nights. I am personally looking forward to GF100 SLI.
