Introducing The Cooler Master Sileo 500
Today we have the privilege of introducing the Cooler Master Sileo 500 mid-tower chassis. According to Cooler Master, it bears a promise of and is “A True Testament of Silent Computing”.
The Sileo 500 is constructed with silence in mind and as such exhibits several features to reduce noise and vibrations. These include:
- Acoustic foam sound insulation material around the chassis
- Anti-vibration pads inside the detachable hard drive trays
- Noise reduction pads for the power supply
Accompanying these features is an elegant design which demonstrates simplicity with style, focusing on minimalism and practicality. The aluminum bezel and the distinct vertical LED front light make for a chic look on the Sileo 500.
There are subtle ventilation holes between the front and side panels that help by offering an improved thermal solution. The design also gives the end user a spacious interior in which to work and also to accommodate various computer components. The Sileo 500 is user friendly and provides tool-free 5.25″ and 3.5″ drive bays for easy installation and maintenance. The front I/O panel is easily accessible and boasts support for e-SATA.
