Fallout 3

This category was a tough choice. Several times we considered having joint winners. The runners-up were also very strong candidates. In the end, it is fair that only one game should stand above the rest. Fallout 3 is that game, masterfully done by Bethesda and it has brought countless hours of engaging enjoyment to its players. Some  contenders were either too short or too linear. Fallout 3 has a huge open world in which to explore, numerous quests, and even just travelling from point A to point B can be treacherous enough to make you enjoy the trip. So many things stood out about this game that we are proud to say that Fallout 3 is ABT’s Game of the Year for 2008.
