Best Single Player Game

Most games nowadays have both single and multiplayer portions. Such games will still qualify for this category but only taking into account the single player campaign.

Fallout 3

Fallout 3 stood head and shoulders above many other titles in the single player category. This might be because it was designed as a single player game, with no multiplayer. Other titles focused a great deal of effort on their multiplayer component while still still only managing to deliver a decent single player experience. That worked in Fallout 3’s favour and as such made it an easy choice for being 2008’s Best Single Player Game.
