At PAX Prime in Seattle, Erik Nilsen, ABT’s Gaming Editor, will be representing ABT. He will cover the event in its entirety and Nvidia will be a major highlight. Of course, gaming is his primary interest and he will go hands on with top new games.

SEATTLE, WA — August 29, 2013— NVIDIA has detailed an outstanding line-up of activities planned for PAX Prime 2013. With three unique experiences planned, NVIDIA aims to showcase the very latest in gaming nirvana – starting with the NVIDIA booth #1614 which will feature the hottest PC and Android games, the GeForce eSports World of Tanks Grand Finale event and after party on Sunday night, September 1st and the NVIDIA-hosted stage show taking place on Monday, September 2nd!
From August 30th to September 2nd, the NVIDIA booth will serve as the destination for hardcore gamers to get hands on time with the very latest PC game titles, the just-released SHIELD handheld gaming platform and get a chance to check out NVIDIA GRID, the latest in cloud gaming technologies. Top new games will be shown, such as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Dying Light, The Bureau: XCom Unlimited, Command & Conquer: Generals 2 and many more on PCs featuring the latest GeForce GTX GPUs. Gamers will also have a chance to play their favorite Android games on SHIELD, the hottest mobile gaming platform currently available, including Dead on Arrival 2 THD, Chuck’s Challenge, Virtua Tennis, Choplifter THD, Flyhunter: Origins and a ton more. NVIDIA will also be demonstrating the visual awesomeness of 4K with a special demo of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs streamed to a 55-inch 4K Sony TV directly from SHIELD.
The NVIDIA GeForce eSports World of Tanks Open Tournament will culminate with its world finals on Sunday, September 1st at 7:00 pm PDT at Showbox SoDo in Seattle, WA. In conjunction with our partners Wargaming and Twitch, NVIDIA GeForce eSports has assembled finalists from China, South East Asia, North and South America, Europe and Russia to compete for their share of hundreds of prizes from NVIDIA, Wargaming, Twitch, EVGA and Razer. The first 100 people in the General Admission line get a free Razer Taipan esports mouse.
Matches will be broadcast live on Twitch and available on–demand. Following the tournament, an after party—featuring meet-ups, complimentary drinks and food and the chance to win high octane prizes—will rage on until 1:00 am. Last but not least, on the final day of the show, Monday, September 2nd, NVIDIA will host a panel at the Paramount Theater demoing their latest products, gaming technologies and brand new game partnerships.
