AMD/ATI Radeon 5800 series bring new Anisotropic Filtering method, Eyefinity triple display technology

The folks over at VR-Zone have posted some new info on the upcoming ATI Radeon 5800 series. According to the reports ATI will be introducing a new technology called “Eyefinity” which allows you to connect three displays to the video card for gaming up to resolution of 2560×1600 much like the Matrox did with their TripleHead2Go product. There are reports of some kind of new Anisotropic Filtering method. We’ll wait and see what happens when more official news pop out in mid-september.
