Android 1.6 get’s Google Maps Navigation Officially
Google’s navigation function Google Maps navigation has now been made officially available for Android 1.6 “Donut” users. Officially launched on the Motorola Droid with Android 2.0, it looks like that google is confident now that the navigation function can work well on it’s older Android version.
However
- Voice search doesn’t work using the “Navigate To” command
- Android 1.5 are still out of luck, but with the navigation coming to 1.6 it will hopefully come to 1.5 soon.
