- Firmware availability to older phones
- Fragmentation changed (screen resizing)
- Miracast updates
- New Gallery Visualization
- New API’s regarding animations
- Change android default blue to other preset palette colours.

The other day, we heard that certain HTC devices will be getting the 4.4 Kitkat update. Pantech also reported that their Vega Iron smartphone will get the update, and of course the Google Nexus 4 and 10 as well.
According to @LlabTooFeR, 2012 HTC devices will not get the new update, and that list included the HTC One X, HTC One X+, HTC One S, and others. They claims that the only devices probably receiving the KitKat update are the Droid DNA and HTC Butterfly but they aren’t sure.

It isn’t common for HTC to take very long to update their devices, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see its older devices get the update. However, Android users should take this as rumor – nothing is official just yet.
