ASUS P8P67 Motherboard Review
Crysis
Crysis is arguably the best-looking PC game and also has the highest demand on your system of any game available. With its highly-evolving gameplay, this FPS requires the player to use adaptive tactics and total customization of weapons and armor to survive in dynamic, hostile environments.
A real-world game benchmark is a true test of any setup and it doesn’t get any better than Crysis. Here we see the older setup handily outperforming the i7/P8P67 combination.
Love the EFI bios!
Why such dramatic differences with certain games? Sometimes this new P67 board wins by nearly 100% over the older Core2 Q9550 platform, but the older platform wins by even larger margins in older games?!?
An interesting find, thanks Leon Hyman. It’s baffling and also a bit disappointing.
WTH happened with 2600k in several gaming tests??
I presume it’s not MSI, so what’s happening with Intel chipsets lately?
I meant it’s not ASUS’s fault xD
