ASUS P8P67 Motherboard Review
Heaven 2.1
The Unigine Heaven benchmark uses DirectX 11 and heavy tessellation that will strain any video card. It is a top-notch technology, that can be easily adapted to various projects due to its elaborated software design and flexible toolset. A few games are currently in development using this engine.
Another synthetic benchmark and another win for the older setup. Its clear that the resulting performance of these setups are heavily dependent on the test itself. Now before I conclude, let us have a look at overclocking on the P8P67 motherboard.
Love the EFI bios!
Why such dramatic differences with certain games? Sometimes this new P67 board wins by nearly 100% over the older Core2 Q9550 platform, but the older platform wins by even larger margins in older games?!?
An interesting find, thanks Leon Hyman. It’s baffling and also a bit disappointing.
WTH happened with 2600k in several gaming tests??
I presume it’s not MSI, so what’s happening with Intel chipsets lately?
I meant it’s not ASUS’s fault xD
