ASUS P8P67 Motherboard Review
CineBench R10
Cinebench R10, is a real-world benchmark test suite from Maxon. Unlike synthetic benchmarks, real-world benchmarks give a better representation of everyday tasks.
The OpenGL test was the first taste of the performance meted out by the i7. Scaling across this test was definitive and results were easily achieved. The i7 at stock beats the maximum overclock of the C2Q. Remarkable!
Both the Single CPU and Multiple CPU benchmarks followed suit and the pattern was clear.
Love the EFI bios!
Why such dramatic differences with certain games? Sometimes this new P67 board wins by nearly 100% over the older Core2 Q9550 platform, but the older platform wins by even larger margins in older games?!?
An interesting find, thanks Leon Hyman. It’s baffling and also a bit disappointing.
WTH happened with 2600k in several gaming tests??
I presume it’s not MSI, so what’s happening with Intel chipsets lately?
I meant it’s not ASUS’s fault xD
