Batman: Arkham Origins Is Not Coming to Next-Gen

Batman: Arkham Origins set to release October 25th.
Ben Mattes, the Senior Producer of Batman: Arkham Origins has confirmed on his Twitter feed:
I can 100% confirm that Arkham Origins will only ship on the announced platforms. It is not coming to PS4 or Xbox One.
This is a disappointment for gamers looking forward to purchase a next-gen console on launch day, hoping to play the next Batman game with improved graphics and gameplay. Warner Brothers Montreal hasn’t confirmed this, but coming from the Senior Producer, we would be surprised if this isn’t true. With its newly announced multiplayer, Batman: Arkham Origins is set to launch on October 25 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Does this means Rocksteady has a next-gen Batman game coming in the future?
Mattes also said in a recent Twitter post:
Next week is going to be huge for #ArkhamOrigins. #youaintseennothingyet
Expect to see a big announcement at Gamescom, August 22 through August 25.
