Actual Usage

Using this mouse pad was an absolute pleasure. First off, it looks great. It really stands out and your friends will notice. Secondly, after setting it in place, just as advertised, it never moved! Right throughout all my gameplay, it did not budge. The 100% natural rubber that makes the underside really is non-slip and this was a welcome experience.

While playing a few of my favourite shooters, I realized that it was a bit easier to aim due to the pad being so accurate. I was better able to follow moving targets and even line up a headshot with a sniper rifle that much quicker.

The pad tracks well but I did notice that a laser mouse performs a bit better than an optical mouse. This determination was achieved by turning the DPI settings on the laser mouse down to about 800dpi, which is about the same as a high performance optical mouse. I then tested by repeatedly moving from one stationary target to the next and noting, by means of seeing and feeling, how easily I was able to acquire that second target in my sights.

Both did well but my findings show that the laser mouse tracked a little better but if you have an optical mouse there should be no worries. What’s even better is that my kill counts have actually gone up a bit. Lol. What more could I ask for?!

The transitions from black to white and back, against the adorned AK design, did not affect mouse tracking. The mouse movements were always true, smooth and consistent.
