Conclusion
The Sniper has come storming back to the forefront of gaming cases. With the tried and trusted feature set of the original, he has come back dressed in all black with some nice additions to his arsenal. The CM Storm Sniper: Black Edition – Mesh Version is very impressive. From its detailed styling to its superior cooling capabilities, any gamer would be happy to own this spacious, well thought-out case.

With a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of US $150, it is no wonder CM Storm has packed in so many features. It is spacious enough to even comfortably house one of the largest CPU air coolers available, the Cooler Master V10. Couple that with the ability to throw in all your other high-end parts while still having space for great air flow, this chassis truly gives value for money.
Pros:
- Solid construction
- Very sturdy carrying handles
- All black interior
- Built-in fan controller
- Three large 200mm blue LED fans included
- Fan LEDs can be turned off if desired
- Tool-free design
- Anti-vibration design
- Lots of drive bays
- 1.8” and 2.5” HDD/SSD support
- e-SATA on the front I/O panel
- All of four USB 2.0 ports on the front I/O panel
- Stylish mesh design
- Lots of space for cable management behind motherboard tray
- CPU retention hole
- Spacious interior for high-end hardware
- High air flow
Cons:
- Motherboard tray is not removable
- Price may be a con for some
If the MSRP is not a con for you then I fully recommend this gaming chassis. For the price, there is not much more you could ask for. Gamers will find great delight in owning the Sniper Black.

Another excellent case review from you, Leon.
Wow, thanks BFG. I do try.
Nice review, but for the money this one cost, you could get an awesome full tower case.
Cool review. I just bought this case last week and couldn’t be happier. The airflow is just.. amazing. The only thing I don’t get is why they made it black on the inside but don’t offer a windowed version in the US (you have to buy the window from them AFTER you buy the case..).
Thanks. I’m glad you like the review.
As for the windowed side panel, keep in mind that from the outset it was supposed to only be available in selected markets. Also, the mesh version is what you would call the ‘default’.
Not sure about their reasoning but that is how they decided to market it.
