Comic-Con Attendees to get first hands-on with the Playstation 4 and Xbox One
Originally the first expo to offer a public hands-on of the PS4 and Xbox One was to be the GameStop Expo in August.
Be one of the first-ever to play Sony’s PlayStation 4 & Microsoft’s Xbox One — before they’re released!”
However it seems that both Sony and Microsoft have plans to show off playable demos of their upcoming games at the San Diego Comic-Con from July 18th to July 21st . Microsoft will offer attendees demos of “Ryse: Son of Rome” and “Killer Instinct” at their official Xbox Booth.
In addition to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 games being shown at the Xbox Booth at the Convention Center, the Xbox Gaming Lounge located just down the street in the Grand Hyatt will also feature more than a dozen titles, including “Dead Rising 3 …”
Sony will be offering attendees a chance to experience the PlayStation 4 console, controller, and the new lineup of games hands-on. Playable demos of Driveclub, Knack, and Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be on display for the attendees, along with Playstation Vita games as well.
Both Sony and Microsoft will have ongoing discussion panels during the convention. To see the schedule for the panels, click the appropriate link below.
There is no word yet on whether the game demos will be running on developer kits or the official consumer version of the Xbox One.
