E3 2013 Wrap-up
ABT enjoyed their brief day at E3 2013. It was very hectic from the drive in, to finding expensive parking near by, to navigating the huge crowds and long lined to get a look at a few of the latest games and the newest hardware.
It appears that Sony won the first round in the PR battle with Microsoft, but November is a long way off and Microsoft has indicated that they have a lot of money to put into advertising for their new console. It will be interesting to see how the E3 demos compare to the actual games when they are released along with the consoles.
In the meantime, AMD has the hardware powering the new consoles while Nvidia is betting on their own console “baby”, the Shield, to promote Android gaming on Tegra. And of course, they are also looking to the not so distant future when future versions of the Shield will be more powerful than either the Xbox One and the PS4. This could be very disruptive to the future of gaming
ABT will be back for E3 2014.
Happy Gaming!
