With the 2011 edition of the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) about to get into full swing, many PC enthusiasts are eager to see what Intel is really bringing to the table with their 2nd Generation Core line of processors. These new CPUs will inhabit the new LGA 1155 socket and run on the new P67 Chipset, that has been codenamed Cougar Point.
This is the latest technology coming out of Intel, brought to you by ECS and they have sent us a specimen that goes by the title, the ECS P67H2-A2 Black Deluxe.
As a part of their Black Series, we expect top notch performance and build quality. This board sports an LGA 1155 Socket and supports Intel’s latest offering in their processor lineup, Sandy Bridge. With the launch of Sandy Bridge happening on January 5, 2011 and the retail availability uncertain, there will not be any performance numbers in this article. However, we will be taking a quick look at the features and what this board is bringing to the table.
