First working Nvidia “Fermi” video card spotted

Some watchful members of our forum alerted us to the possibility of the first appearance of Nvidia’s upcoming GeForce “Fermi” architecture based video card. Expected to be named the GF100 series, this video card was spotted running the Unigine Heaven DX11 benchmark.

As our community member very rightly points out that since the benchmark settings were not revealed, it could be an older generation video card running the Heaven benchmark in DX10 mode. To investigate this, I took a look at the video of the benchmark running in DX11 mode on Youtube at 2:06 for the same scene and it looks like the same to me. So this could very well be Nvidia’s upcoming DX11 card running the benchmark in DX11 mode.
