From a Silver Birthday to a Cotton Anniversary
On Sunday, September 26, 2010, I celebrated my 25th birthday. From the traditional anniversary gift list, 25 years from the anniversary of my birth would be a Silver occasion. Following suit, in the same week, I will be celebrating with my ABT family (staff and members alike), our 2nd anniversary.
AlienBabelTech was officially launched on October 1, 2008. This Saturday we will celebrate 2 years of existence and service to the tech community and it has been a wonderful journey. As we continue to look forward to bigger and better things, I will continue to do the same in my personal endeavours. Regular followers of ABT will see this in my continued work here and who knows…in no time we maybe celebrating ABT’s Silver occasion. As quite a coincidence, I also just noticed that Google is also celebrating. They are now 12 years old and are having their own silky smooth celebrations (12th year – Silk).
I look forward to every new year as a new challenge and a new opportunity. A new beginning in which to take the bull by the horns and to make life into what I want it to be. I urge everyone to think about it in a similar fashion and as ABT aims to begin its 3rd year of existence, there is really only one fitting invitation…
