Galaxy’s GTX 760 GC Mini – overclocking in a small package
Unboxing the Galaxy GTX 760 GC Mini
The GTX 760 GC Mini arrives in a box that advertises the card without its specifications, other than it is a “GeForce GTX 760”. It features its 2GB framebuffer, ability to use 3+1 displays, Custom cooling, GC Galaxy Factory overclocked, SLI, DirectX11, PhysX and TXAA, as well as Galaxy’s premium 3-year warranty.
The back of the Galaxy box goes into more details as well as, “why Galaxy?”.
Great utilities are included, including Galaxy’s Xtreme Tuner Plus which includes an improved GPU voltage tuner. One end panel shows the card’s connection possibilities.
The end panels gives the key features, minimum system requirements as well as what’s included in the box. The card comes well-protected and in an anti-static bag.
Inside the box, besides the new Galaxy GTX 760 GC Mini, we find a driver CD, manual, and warranty service information.
The Galaxy GTX 760 GC Mini is a very small card with two very small quiet-running fans to keep the GPU cool.
The Galaxy card lives up to its “Mini” designation but it has a beefy cooling system.
The connectors on the reference version are the same as the Galaxy GTX 760 GC Mini – 2 dual-link DVI DisplayPort, and HDMI.
Let’s turn it over. It is the reference GTX 760 PCB but using Galaxy’s custom design to miniaturize the entire video card over it instead of overhanging the PCB as with the reference version. The Galaxy GTX 760 GC Mini video card is warrantied for three years. Galaxy has included their Xtreme Tuner overclocking software on the driver DVD or as a download on their site and you can even raise the voltage.
The Galaxy GTX 760 GC Mini looks like it has a great cooling system and from this angle, you can see the SLI connectors. With a great warranty and 24/7 phone support, Galaxy offers great service! We can’t wait to test out our new card, but before we begin the testing, head over to our testing configuration.
