Performance summary charts & graphs

Here are the summary charts of 24 modern PC games and 3 synthetic tests. The highest settings are generally chosen and it is DX11 when there is a choice; DX10 is picked above DX9, and the settings are generally ultra or maxed unless specified on the chart. Specific settings are listed on the Main Performance chart. The benches are run at 1920×1200 and at 5760×1080.

Main Overall Summary chart

In the first column of the main performance summary chart are the performance results for the Galaxy GTX 770 HOF at its stock factory clocks. The second column shows the results after we overclocked the HOF a further 15MHz on the core and +350MHz on the memory. Column 3 shows the EVGA GTX 770 SC 4GB results, while column 4 lists the reference GTX 770 results. The last column, number 5, is devoted to the HD 7970 at GHz Edition speeds with locked on Boost (1050/1500MHz). *Sleeping Dogs did not display on the side displays at 5760×1080 although the performance hit is there. Civilization V did not run at 5760×1080 with GeForce, while the Witcher 2 did not run properly in Widescreen on the Radeon.

Above is the master chart and we clearly see the Galaxy GTX 770 HOF dominate over the reference and mildly overclocked GTX 770s. In most games in our 30-game benchmark suite, the HOF is solidly faster than the HD 7970 at GHz Edition boost speeds. It makes up a some ground on the GTX 780 which the EVGA SC card could not manage – in fact, it beats the GTX 780 in 3D Mark 11 – the GTX 770 HOF scores 11495 while the stock GTX 780 scores 11049!!
