Gigabyte has been working on the G1-Killer series in order to compete with the ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) line. Now they have finally officially introduced this new product line.
This new G1-Killer Series will feature 3 motherboards named Guerilla, Assassin and Sniper. They all feature a black PCB with green slots for a military themed look. Even the heatsinks take on weaponry status.
Targeting gamers, these X58 based motherboards integrate the Killer 2100 network controller for improved performance. They have also included the X-Fi 20K2 audio processor and support SATA 3.0, USB 3.0 and USB Power 3X (for charging high power draw devices).
