HD 4800 series in for a price cut

AMD’s HD4800 series has been one of its most successful range of graphic cards. They have sold a lot of these cards and probably have a lot of these in stock. With the near arrival of next generation of Radeon series from AMD, they are looking to clear out the existing inventory of the HD4800 cards. As a result, the HD4800 series is expected to get price cuts by as much as $50. Price of HD 4890 card will be lowered from US$249 to US$199 while HD 4870 will be priced at US$149, down from US$199, HD 4850 is expected to go below US$100.
